The Elgin Fire Department is now offering CPR classes, ranging from lay-person CPR to Health-care Provider CPR. First Aid classes are also available. Classes will be held at the EFD unless otherwise arranged on a case to case basis. A minimum of 3 people are required for a class to be held. View price list, price breaks are available for multiple persons. Special rates for schools also. Schedule your class.
Donation for Equipment
The Elgin Fire Department graciously accepts donations to go for the upkeep of current equipment, purchase of new equipment, training programs, and prevention programs at the local Elementary School. Much of our funds come from the generosity and support of the people we strive to protect, and those gracious enough willing to donate to a good cause.

The Elgin Fire Department provides primary urban fire protection for the City of Elgin, secondary urban fire protection for the cities of Clermont and Wadena. EFD also provides primary rural protection for approximately 65 square miles and secondary rural protection for approximately 225 square miles throughout Fayette County and Clayton County, Iowa.
